Where can one find cheap and fun entertainment without spending a lot of money? The answer is to find a good paintball facility and you will find loads of cheap and fun entertainment for you and all your friends. In today’s economy it is a necessity to save the money you have and not spend money you don’t have, but when it comes to cheap and fun entertainment it doesn’t seem as if the prices have come down at all.

What is a Paintball?

A paintball is just as it sounds: a ball full of paint, and when it hits an object the paint makes a mark on that object. The ball looks like metal and can be slightly painful on impact. This is why it is suggested that you wear paintball gear. The gear can be anything from just a mask and gun, or it can include an entire outfit such as those you might see in the army. Beginners in their very first game normally just wear whatever they have available, but at the first sign of bruises on their body from playing paintball, they quickly realize they need some more padding. Getting wacked with a paintball is great cheap and fun entertainment.

How Do You Play Paintball?

Simply put, paintball is a form of playing army. If you have seen games such as Call of Duty then you will know exactly what I am talking about.  But for those that have not seen or played games like this, here is a brief explanation of how paintball is played. There are normally two teams in different colors so that each team member can be identified. For this case we will use blue and red. There can be any number of members on each team but they must be equal so that each team has a fair chance of winning. The paintball field is usually in a setting where you would encounter obstacles such as a forest or makeshift town. The obstacles provide hiding places and make the game a little more challenging. Paintball is simply a strategy game in which you must shoot all of the other members of the team with the paintball before they shoot all the members of your team with paintballs from your paintball gun. There are many paintball places that put a lot of effort into providing you with varying settings and challenging environments to try to make the game fun and challenging.

If you are ever bored and have a few friends you can call up, it might not be a bad idea to suit up, find the nearest paintball facility, and load up for some paintball fun!
